Scope and acceptance
List the workflows, screens, reports and examples that will be used to accept the finished work.
Custom development is useful when your requirements go beyond a standard plan setup. That may mean an unusual bonus calculation, a connection to your store, a migration from an older platform, or a different approval process. We start by agreeing the work in enough detail to test it.
A useful brief describes a real workflow: who enters an order, who checks it, when volume is credited, how commissions are approved and what the member sees. Screens and features follow from that. This makes it easier to identify what can be configured and what needs new development.
Getting these decisions on paper makes configuration, testing and day-to-day support easier.

Review exports, clean duplicate records and reconcile member relationships, balances and opening volume.
Confirm API access, sandbox accounts, provider costs and the records each system will own.
Agree hosting, backups, access permissions, training, source handover and support responsibilities.
Review a working version with realistic test records before launch. Write down corrections while there is still time to make them.
Agree deployment access, integration credentials and monitoring responsibilities. Server sizing should follow expected users, orders and calculation workload.
Your compensation document, a sample order and a worked commission calculation. Include a refund, an inactive member and any payout cap. We can then show the relevant platform screens and confirm the work needed.
Explore integration options or review pricing and licensing. Modules and custom work are confirmed in your quote.
Choosing your platform is a big decision. We’re here to make it easier.
Ask us anythingYes. We review the application workload and hosting environment before deployment. Backups, security updates and ongoing server management should have a named owner.
We first inspect an export and agree the migration scope. Not every historical report can be recreated from incomplete data, so balances and relationships are reconciled before cutover.
The quote follows the agreed scope, integrations and migration requirements. Third-party subscriptions, hosting and later changes are identified separately.
Bring your compensation plan and your questions. We’ll show you how the software could fit.
